Stephanie Doughty is a Managing Director with Alvarez and Marsal. Stephanie has applied her knowledge of tax along with a background in technology manufacturing into a successful national R&D practice spanning more than two decades. She is a technical expert in the R&D tax credit. She has vast experience assisting companies of all sizes and in a multitude of industries in capturing, claiming and defending R&D tax credits. She is an authority on government contractors and the complexities of substantiating their R&D credit claims. Stephanie has saved her clients tens of millions of dollars in overpaid taxes over her career. In addition to working closely with her clients, Stephanie teaches continuing education to CPA’s. She also dedicates a substantial portion of her time as a guest speaker at various technology, government contracting and tax events throughout the country.
