I have worked in higher education for many years with most of my professional experience being in Student Financial Services and Student Recruitment. Welcoming and assisting students as they begin their journey through higher education has been a great joy of mine. Throughout my career in higher education I have prided myself on being a student advocate above all else. I equally enjoy pulling reports and reconciling student loan disbursements as I do meeting prospective students and discussing their financial needs for the coming semester. All students have the right to receive an education. Although student loan indebtedness is a great concern for many, I believe improving students' financial literacy would positively impact their student loan indebtedness. Additionally, providing students with clear, accurate, and immediate financial information is essential on the part of all institutions of higher education.Platform Proficiency: Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SharePoint, PowerFAIDS, PowerCampus, Banner, PeopleSoft, ELM, ScholarNet, NSLDS, CPS via FAA Online, Common Origination & Disbursement (COD), EdConnect, Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, Jabber, Microsoft Teams, MySQLCliftonStrenghts: Relator, Analytical, Ideation, Maximizer, Belief
