The Manolson Lab at the Faculty of Dentistry

I collaborate with the staff and faculty in the Human Biology Program to create content that represents us in digital spaces. My role primarily involves curating weekly newsletters and social media posts that are shared through platforms such as MailChimp, Instagram, and Facebook (@uofthmb) to the 3000 undergraduate students in the HMB Program. In addition, I am well-versed in multiple forms of design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Canva.

My role in Young Leaders of Public Health and Medicine (YLPHM) involves designing and curating a suite of weekly, education posts that are shared on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook (@ylphm.to). I contributed to overhauling club branding, successfully re-introducing YLPHM at the University of Toronto, and bringing the club back from a hiatus.

My role as STEM Representative involves connecting with STEM-related clubs, student unions, and colleges at the University of Toronto to spread h2art's mission of using art-making as a tool for mental well-being. I facilitate events, attend meetings, and actively participate in club brainstorming sessions that contribute to the future endeavours of h2art.

As an Alumni Ambassador, I help spread the word of Yale Young Global Scholars to my community by facilitating social media takeovers and sharing my experiences during the 2019 session of Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS).

INsider Mentorship provides Innis College opportunities for first-year students to receive peer mentorship from upper-year students. INsiders work with the Assistant Dean, Student Life and Student Life Coordinator to provide workshops and experiential activities which supported the development and enhancement of effective mentoring and role-modelling skills. With a goal to promote diversity in programming, they ensured a balance between academic mentorship, student life engagement and personal skills development for their mentees, with the bonding and mentorship that takes place through social events and activities.
