After boot camp, I was lucky enough to immediately deploy to the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower as she began her sea trails in preparation for a Mediterranean cruise.The Navy taught me how to be self-reliant, as well as how to best serve my team and my command. My time in the Navy also gave me the opportunity to visit and experience areas of the world (and the people\culture) at a very young age.To this day I am fond of my Navy days, and very proud that I was able to serve my country!
