An active member in the Moritz Moot Court Program, he received awards for best oralist and best brief at separate moot court competitions and was selected for the Order of Barristers.He received his bachelor’s of music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln while serving in the Nebraska Army National Guard. Before coming to law school, Stephan lived and worked in Madagascar during his service with the Peace Corps.
