Philantropic Volunteer For Homeless ShelterHesed House 2005 - PresentAurora, Illinois, UsI have been in a fortunate position a few times in my career to take a Sabbatical for a year at a time, and spend quality time on family functions like boating in Lake Geneva, WI, coach various sports for my two sons (baseball, basketball, football, swimming, soccer) and complete long-delayed home projects assigned to me by the family CEO. This time-off allowed me to recharge my batteries and renew my commitment and responsibilities of being a full-time father and husband. Running your own business is a time-consuming multi-job responsibility that can consume your entire day – if you let it.Once a month, I volunteer my time at the Hesed House homeless shelter in Aurora, IL to prepare a hot breakfast from 3am - 5:30am for up to 200 people in need. We are always looking for volunteers. If you have the time and interest in helping those who have a tough time in helping themselves, come on down. I became a volunteer in 2005 and I still am today.
