For the convention I created and edited and disseminated information for LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Although nearly 3,000 people attended the convention, the reach of those posts was amplified by much of our 23,000+ members, friends, the media, and people following #ALPFA.Serving at the convention as a special assistant to the Chief Marketing Officer, Jorge Ortega and Chief Branding Officer, Lori Ruff, I made sure that ALPFA’s first “Social Media Hub” and Press Room were manned and that we recruited at least 100 volunteer “ALPFA Social Reporters” to help cover and amplify the events.
