I'm a half-Vietnamese French cultural mix. As a first-generation immigrant, I came to the States in 1997 with two suitcases and a hard-won scholarship in Architecture. Tech was such a foundation of my upbringing that one of these bags contained a 30-pound workstation I'd built. I fell in love with the culture and its people.I pursued my craft in design and ad agencies for seven years and got married to a captivating Midwesterner. Long hours. Weekends. Pitches. From designer & coder to Director of Digital, the agency life was an exploding constellation of moving technologies and electronic dreams. I kept building and crafting digital experiences, from motion design to fully integrated campaigns.In the Christmas of 2005, I found myself orbiting the agency world with a baby in our future. I decided to start a new venture, sailed on and never looked back. Studio Pax was born.So "I" became a "We." Studio Pax is a creative studio with a strategic viewpoint. We work with clients who understand the value of design because we care to capture their core business goals, their "why." I believe in bringing beauty and art to this world through our craft, even if it's one step at a time.
