Identifying myself as an American born to Hispanic parents then later raised abroad, has largely shaped my unique perspectives and aspirations. I understand how it feels to be financially/food insecure or without opportunity and go above and beyond when opportunity arises growing up in a third world country. I take pride in persistence, diligence and empathy. This is why i decided to become an Architect because of its functions as societal tools that allow individuals and corporations to build new horizons and fresh starts for people in need as well as the developing growth to its cities. I also credit my analytical and disciplined working style for my love for music and playing classical piano. Life has taught me to seek out opportunities whether or not they are risky. Growing up i was always interested in all programs and classes i could take, expanding my mindset at such a young age, this lesson has made me better in the long run.Being in the Construction industry for so long has given me the opportunity to navigate all areas, such as drafting for shop drawings to studying and learning all the project phases from the ground up, to managerial positions to interior designer and to work directly with the department of buildings, allowing me to elevate my knowledge on the commercial and private sector simultaneously. Feeling incredibly grateful for all the opportunities given but my thirst for knowledge and experience continues to grow.
