My customer base initially included florist wholesalers in the North of England, Scotland and Ireland, large retailers and independent garden centres across the UK. By 2014, I was solely responsible for large retailers, garden centre groups, independent garden centres, nurseries and growers. Duties included:• Building strong and successful relationships with existing customers.• Researching and identifying new business opportunities.• Implementing sales plans to target growth opportunities and promote new products at every customer visit. • Attending trade shows such as Glee, Harrogate Christmas & Gift, Wholesaler Trade Days and providing merchandising support for retail customers.• Raising brand profile to become the preferred supplier of floral foam and floral accessories within the retail/garden centre channels.• Achieving targeted sales and KPI’s.

Developing and maintaining business travel sales in the North of England & Scotland.• Promoting Delta Air Lines to the corporate community and business travel agencies with the objective of increasing market share and high yield revenue.• Managing a large geographical territory covering North of England & Scotland.• Initiating incentive agreements with business clients and travel firms to increase market share.• Organising corporate hospitality events to entertain and attract high yield customer to Delta.• Sales presentation skills using PowerPoint, regularly presented the Delta product and business proposals to the business travel sector and to individual companies.• Effective time management in planning sales visits.
