She leverages her creative strategy and UX expertise to improve and execute game UI/UX for brands like Disney, Call of Duty, Marvel, Star Wars, and BANDAI NAMCO. As the founder and leader of XAMA, Steph works with a talented remote team of designers to consult and create high quality experiences for Fortune 500 companies, AAA game studios, and startups.In 2018, she was a speaker at GDC's UX Summit where she discussed how to immerse a creative world into usable UI. She then returned in 2019 to GDC's UX Summit to speak about conveying player growth through UX Strategy and in-game visuals. Steph now volunteers as a GDC advisor, working with the other members to curate the UX summit sessions.While part of the Central Creative team at Disney Games, Steph combined her art direction and UI/UX abilities to create functional and thematic product user interfaces. She then diversified her experience as a Marketing Art Director at Supercell––where she worked to improve Clash of Clans and Clash Royale's presence through a localized creative strategy for retention and acquisition in the Japan market. In addition she provided UI/UX insight and creative consultation to new game teams on how they can make their game globally appealing, and approachable for the Japan market.
