CurrentNurses are often not provided with the tools and support necessary to provide quality patient care. This is evident in critical care where patients often have 10 IV lines and nurses make due with handwritten tape to organize, label, and maintenance their lines. Although better practices are known, it's surprising to learn that tape is the most common tool provided to nurses by hospitals. Relying on tape leads to 4.5% of patients having a preventable adverse drug event because of their infusion medications. We founded Crimson Medical Solutions to make best practices easier for nurses managing many IV line on patients in critical care. We do this by providing Joint Commission recommended practices on an easy to use tool for managing IV lines.IV line management, known as IV line spaghetti, has been a longstanding issue for critical care nurses. Nurses currently use tape, labels, attach tongue depressors to the side of the bed, or MacGyver other tools to manage IV lines. Our product, the IV Manager is a standardized IV line organization tool that improves quality and saves time for nurses so they can focus on patient care. We are currently piloting with select innovation centers and intensive care units at hospitals.Check out our website and demonstration video!Website- https://crimsonmedicalsolutions.com/Demonstration Video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSO3E_mN7Kg
