Profile bio

About Stephen Coleman Kenny

I am a transportation policy professional, working at all levels of government to create communities where people can safely and effectively walk, bike, and ride public transportation, no matter what resources or background they have. I have done this by helping local actors find and pursue opportunities within the federal transportation program, lobbying for Congressional and administrative reforms, and providing technical assistance to dozens of state Departments of Transportation and local governments. I received my Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Maryland in 2021 and currently work at the Montgomery County Council as a Legislative Advisor for transportation policy.
