His recent address for the annual Ross Memorial Lecture in Litigation at Temple University School of Law highlighted a few of the key cases in his career, including representing Black Panthers in civil rights cases in the 1960’s, labor union strikes, environmental protection litigation and his initiative to bring “butterfly ballot” litigation based on citizens’ voting rights in Florida that led to Bush v. Gore in the 2000 U.S. Presidential Election.  Mr. Sheller also shared his experience prevailing in whistleblower qui tam matters, including the largest settlement in Pennsylvania and the third largest False Claims Act Case in the United States.Recognized for his innovative legal strategies, Mr. Sheller is the recipient of numerous awards and honors.
