My particular interest is in developing and scaling new solutions and business models to accelerate the clean energy transition in buildings and electricity generation. Since joining Rocky Mountain Institute in August 2013, I have worked with large universities, corporations, and local governments and helped launch multiple initiatives aimed at helping these groups go to market and implement high-impact clean technology projects. This has included supporting large-scale renewable energy PPAs and virtual PPAs, and local governments' renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electrification programs. Before joining RMI, I studied at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and focused my attention on renewable energy and sustainability sectors. As a vice-president of Tuck’s Net Impact Chapter and the Dartmouth Energy Collaborative, I organized company visits, educational discussions, and seminars to keep fellow students informed about new developments in the energy industry. In order to develop my own understanding of renewable energy, I decided to spend my summer internship to working at Apex Clean Energy, a wind and solar developer in Charlottesville, VA. In addition, I participated in the 2012 and 2013 Ross Renewable Energy Case Competitions, where my team was awarded 4th and 3rd place respectively. For all these efforts and my decision to work at RMI, I was awarded the Tuck 1976 Allwin Service Award in 2013. Prior to attending graduate school, I spent four years working at an economic consulting firm, where my work focused on understanding and analyzing the financial impacts of corporate decisions. During this time, I developed analytical, programming, and communication skills within a highly rigorous, academic environment. My project work during this time introduced me to a large number of industries, including mutual funds, financial services, pharmaceuticals and entertainment. I earned my original bachelors degree at Williams College, where I studied both Economics and Computer Science.
