Stephen Alinaitwe is a focused, enthusiastic, highly innovative and hardworking strategic Data Scientist born and raised in Tooro, Uganda. Currently, Stephen lectures at Mountains of the Moon University department of Computer science. He is also an M&E consultant and researcher. He has teaching experience of 12 years at higher education institutions and 5 years doing M&E consultancy and research. He is currently a doctoral student in Information Technology with focus on promoting the greening agenda using Information technology (Greentech) with research theme; - ICT for development and sub-Theme- ICT adoption for MSMEs sustainable growth and Digital Technologies for Green Growth. He is a data analyst and consultant in the digital economy with a strong background in Computer science and ICT policy backed by post graduate qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation. He has published articles and some are in the pipeline. He has attained a number of professional courses in data analysis, data management and data administration. He has worked on and executed a number of consultancy projects in information Technology, M&E and research such as Impact assessment, tracer studies, baselines, End Line Surveys, User satisfactions surveys, feasibility studies, market analysis and strategic planning etc and most recently he has heavily been engaged in Business development services with both local and international development agencies, government and Non-Government Organizations and Civil Society organizations such as Ugandan Judiciary, The Electoral Commission, Uganda National Commission for UNESCO, GIZ, BMZ, Plan Uganda, Caritas, Heifer International, EDUKANS Educational Centre, Ministry of Internal Affairs, KRC Uganda, YES-Busia, Uganda Coffee Development Authority, Tooro Youth Platform for Action, Church of Uganda, CERID, Clinic Master International in central Uganda. Uganda Development Corporation, Ministry of Works and Transport, Ministry of lands and urban Planning. He is an ardent participant in co-curricular and voluntary activities that touch identity evidenced by currently as Deputy president for Uganda Martyrs University Alumni association.
