CurrentSteve has been director in charge of precinct master planning projects for a number of Sydney’s Growth Centres including East Leppington, Area 20, Schofields and Marsden Park Industrial Precinct and has recently completed master planning for the Carter Street Urban Activation Precinct adjacent to Sydney Olympic Park.Social and private enterprise housing include the Redfern East Social Housing Project together with Centric, Arc and Prominence Apartment projects at Victoria Park in Zetland.Steve was responsible for the preparation of the Prince Henry Design Guidelines for Little Bay and was a member of Landcom’s Prince Henry Design Review Panel.At Bowden Urban Village in Adelaide he worked on the Master Plan Review for the inner city TOD and prepared the Bowden Urban Design Guidelines.Other major urban design and renewal projects include the Green Square Town Centre Master Plan, the former ACI Site Master Plan at Waterloo, the BATA Site Master Plan, Pagewood and the Built Environment Plan Stage II for Redfern-Waterloo. Steve is currently (2015/16) urban design team leader for the Parramatta North Urban Transformation project for UrbanGrowth NSW. The project is set to reinvigorate the historic Cumberland Hospital with up to 45 heritage buildings to be retained and reused, up to 3000 new apartments and high quality public domain.
