I have the privilege of lecturing at the Universities of Cambridge and Hertfordshire on their Executive MBA and MBA programmes respectively.I also undertake research which focuses on 2 key questions:-1. What makes a successful business person and entrepreneur?2. How can this be learnt and practised?Solutions focus on Artificial Intelligence; in particular cognitive architectures.The results of the research programme are then used in online, blended and classroom learning interventions across the Universities.

Softa worked closely with Cognos in the field of Corporate Performance Management which led to the purchase of Softa by Cognos in 2004.

Stephen and his team acquired the intellectual property from Deloitte to re-establish the Softa organisation. Softa focused its efforts on Performance Management

Softa sold its intellectual property to Deloitte Consulting and Stephen became a global partner with responsibility for Strategic Enterprise Management and Financial and Performance Management.

Built the company into one of the top consultancies in the UK specialising in the integration of strategy, planning and reporting processes.
