Molopo announced in 2011 a new strategy of concentrating its efforts and resources in North American oil exploration opportunities and work on improving and potentially divesting its Queensland CBM and South African gas assets A new Canadian based CEO was appointed in January 2012 and a further strategic decision was made to transition as much of the head office functions to Canada over 2012 and as such my position was made redundant in June 2012.CFO has a team of eight with responsibility for all countries

Market capital grew from 2003 $24m peaking at $180m in 2005. Company operated in 8 locations with over 100 + staff. Willmott Forests was placed into administration in September 2010 due to withdrawal of financial support by the banking syndicate, all senior executives and most staff were made redundant soon after. The brands within Adecco include Adecco, Icon, Ajilon, TAD, Jonathan Wren and Lee Hecht Harrison. A new expanded regional Chief Financial Officer role was created and my position was made redundant.
