Responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring all Social Value initiatives through commissioned/ procured and capital delivery services using Social Return on Investment methodology.Also responsible for developing and initiating new CSR activity, managing multiple programmes and a team of staff. Social Value Lead for the YORhub Construction/ Civils/ Consult framework which comprises 22 local authorities, universities, schools, registered providers and blue light organisations.Responsibilities also comprise to Integrate social value considerations into the organisation's sustainability efforts, including environmental sustainability and ethical business practices.Develop and implement educational programs and advocacy initiatives to raise awareness and promote social responsibility both internally and externally.Manage budgets and allocate resources to support social value initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum local impact.

Running a 12-week personal development/ employability course, offering work experience, qualifications, practical skills, community projects and a residential week away. Completed 6 teams with an average of 13 young people per team with a 100% pass rate throughout.Main responsibilities included -- Programme marketing, development and delivery- Recruitment through partnerships with local youth organisations, planning fundraising activities and managing funds for 2 community project events on each team- Building relationships with local business links and council representatives for support with work experience placements and employability skills workshops- Delivering staff training and ongoing CPD- Designing, planning and running a team-building residential week including venue, travel, accommodation and activities- Organising and hosting Team presentations events and various other fundraising and community events- Meeting and exceeding financial targets related to recruitment, retention and programme completion plus data management linked with the above- Centre management

Working with 14-18 year olds with behavioural challenges, working right through from recruitment to delivery to progression. My role entailed working in cohesion with partnering organisations to enrol young people onto our programmes, supporting the students throughout with mentoring, signposting and regular reviews to overcome individual issues, alongside the tutoring.

Teacher of Life Skills, including one-to-one mentoring with students, small group intervention lessons, motivation and confidence building and I also worked as an in-house cover teacher.

At the age of 21, I became the youngest Manager in the organisation.
