In my role at Basware, I am responsible for taking full ownership and consolidation of our Global Azure infrastructure. In addition, I am leading the integration of Glantus's Infrastructure team and IT infrastructure into the Basware organization. This involves several key initiatives aimed at ensuring a smooth transition and optimizing our operations.Transitioning Responsibilities and InfrastructureI am responsible for migrating the responsibilities and tasks of the Glantus infrastructure team to our existing Basware teams. This includes:• Ensuring minimal disruption to end users• Clear communication and alignment of roles• Adoption of Basware's tools and processes• Integration into our Development area practices• Implementation of Agile/Scrum methodologies• Providing training to support any changes in responsibilities, tools, technology, or processesAdditionally, I oversee the decommissioning of legacy Glantus infrastructure, which involves planning and executing data centre migrations and transitioning to Basware solutions. Azure Platform ManagementAnother key aspect of my role is to take full ownership of and consolidate our Azure real estate. This includes:• Ensuring governance and security through automated policy enforcement• Providing transparency and observability into cost, performance, and health of the Azure infrastructure• Driving automated provisioning of infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code, guided by our existing Basware Automation Programs• Bringing Azure capabilities to the same level as our AWS infrastructure• Managing all Azure platform operations• Developing equivalent services in Azure to match those in Basware's AWS InfrastructureThis enables Basware developers to effortlessly utilise the best features of the Azure platform, resulting in more efficient and innovative solutions for our Customers.

My role in Glantus is the overall Design, Implementation and Management of the Cloud infrastructure upon which the Glantus Data Platform runs.Responsibilities• Design and administration of Azure Network, Storage and Windows Server infrastructures and security supporting proprietary Glantus SaaS product infrastructure. • Design and administration of Physical datacentre infrastructure and security. • Design and administration of Secured information flows intra-company and to clients. • Ownership and execution of IT integration projects for Companies acquired by Glantus.• Design. build and deployment of tailored server, network and storage solutions for clients requiring bespoke implementations of our software solutions.• Management of Internal IT team to support user base spread across USA, Ireland, UK, Poland, Lithuania and Costa Rica.• Travel to Glantus international locations to implement / maintain infrastructure.• Implementation of Management systems for End User devices via MS Intune and NinjaOne.• Guidance of the Internal Compliance Team, when dealing with Technical side of ISO audits, along with GDPR and cyber security questionnaires from clients.• Automated monitoring and alerting of Organisation wide Endpoint, Server, Storage and Network issues • C-Level reporting on Infrastructure status, project planning and Overall security.The Glantus Data Platform powers our products supporting an end-to-end solution for the accounts payable function. The platform connects to all your data, identifying errors and returning working capital to the bottom line. Intelligent automation is rapidly deployed to improve efficiency and advanced analytics monitors performance in real-time.

My role in DCNetworks is the overall administration of our proprietary Cloud infrastructure, DCCloud. This infrastructure utilises best in class equipment, located in Datacentres in Cork and Dublin, to provide cost effective and secure IT services to our Clients. Leveraging our DCCloud infrastructure, we also offer clients our Disaster Recovery as a Service solution, DCVault. This is for clients who require backup and replication of their onsite infrastructure, to a secure offsite location, with a tailored recovery SLA.Our Clients are wide ranging, from the Single entrepreneur, to business of up to 100+ people, here in Ireland and as far away as Dubai.The constant expansion of this part of the business requires keeping up to date with new developments in both Hardware and Software, as we design and implement the evolving infrastructure, to service our growing client base.Responsibilities Design, Support and Administration for Network, Storage and Server infrastructures for clients.3rd line support for client hardware and software.Build and deployment of tailored server and network solutions for clients, onsite, and on proprietary Cloud infrastructure.Conception, design and implementation of proprietary Disaster Recovery as a Service infrastructure for our Clients.Automated monitoring of Servers and Network equipment & troubleshooting of infrastructure problems for Clients hardware and for proprietary Cloud infrastructure. External Software Quality Control.Responsibilities:- -Testing of User Interface (UI), System functions, Business logic, -- Correct functionality in various environments, in accordance with IEEE Std. 829-1983Local administration of Versions, tools, accounts, permission rights needed for effective and accurate testingKnowledge and use of SVN version tracking softwareKnowledge and use of the Mantis bug-tracking systemCo-ordination with International team members in testing of network capabilities of software. Providing Tech Support to the end users of software.

Architectural TechnologistResponsibilities :- Co-ordination and Oversight of the International Design Team technical responses for €30m façade contract for the Daniel Liebeskind Grand Canal Square Offices Project.Working within an International Team to produce Sketch Design, Fire, Planning, Compliance, Construction, Tender, Legal, Presentation Drawings and Specification Documentation for the Grand Canal Square Offices project.Liaising with Site agents, Contractors and Suppliers Liaising with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers and Salespersons.Attending and contributing to:- Site meetings, Design Team meetings and Project Management meetings

Architectural Technologist Responsibilities :- Production of Sketch Design, Fire, Planning, Compliance, Construction, Tender, Legal, Land registry, Presentation, Sales Drawings and Documentation for a given project.Management of small team of Draughtspersons Liaising with Site agents, Contractors and Suppliers Liaising with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers and Salespersons within the companyAttending and contributing to:- Site meetings, Design meetings and Project Management meetings
