My passion and drive for electrical engineering had a practical beginning as an electrician. Whilst working as an electrician I gained a genuine excitement and interest in electrical engineering which gave me the drive and ambition to enter 3rd level education.Since joining Ethos Engineering in 2015 my technical abilities, project management and people management skills as an engineer have been given the opportunity to grow through mentoring, hard work and exposure to technically demanding projects.Data Centre design has been a key part of Ethos Engineering's portfolio since I joined the company which gave me early exposure to the industry from day one. However, for the last 6 of my 9 years at Ethos I have worked solely on Data Centre's and have delivered a multitude of Data Centre projects across the EMEA region from concept at SDD stage, through to site management /monitoring and handover/completion stage.My proudest achievement to date has been leading not only 1, but 2 teams of electrical engineers in design and construction management of multiple hyperscale data cetre projects each year. In order to be able to work on multiple projects at once, and continue to deliver to a high standard, training and mentoring my staff in the data centre industry has been key. Only through continual development and adaption of training material and programs has this been achievable.This continual development of staff has been achieved whilst not only maintaining relationships with key clients, we have stengtened those relationships and shown that we are a safe pair of hands as this exciting industries of our grows at record pace.My key goal is to continually deliver technically challenging fast paced projects for our Data Centre clients in the EMEA region, whilst growing my team to meet the growth forecasted in the data centre industry, without compromising on quality.

  I commenced my electrical apprenticeship in 2003 and qualified in 2007. I worked full time as a qualified electrician until 2009 when I entered full time 3rd level education. When I finished full time education I continued working as an electrician in a foreman role until Early 2015 when I started my 1st electrical engineering role.In August of 2015 I joined Ethos engineering where I am currently working as a an associate, helping to manage the diverse needs of the data centre group, and leading 2 teams of electrical engineers within the group, delivering Data Centre design and construction management for key clients in the EMEA region.At this stage of my career my colleagues and clients know me as a technically component and result driven lead engineer with a proven track record of taking Data Centre projects from concept to handover.
