Actively leveraged USIC and Foreign Policy contacts at all levels to facilitate a number of substantive, senior-level interagency roundtables, resulting in distinct policy decisions. Resolved a sensitive technical issue in East Asia; separately, shaped U.S. policy options regarding out-of-control insurgencies, economic hyperinflation, and/or expanding terror threats in Southeast Asia and Africa, respectively.
