I was raised in a middle class family in St. Louis, Missouri. My dad wanted to practice medicine in California but the first position to open up was in St. Louis. My parents taught me core Christian values and to help others.I was drawn to the legal profession because I liked to talk and did not like working with blood. Initially I worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney helping to provide some justice for the many victims of crime.After serving as a prosecutor, for a time, I went into the private practice of law. From a general practice I moved into and began concentrating on estate planning, elder law, and helping those coping with the challenge of advancing age and infirmities providing for their loved ones and leaving a legacy.I have served buisiness owners and families in crisis, confusion, pain, hurt, distress and anxiety. I have seen caregivers, neighbors, and some relatives throw out the will of the decendent because of their weakened state of health and mind.It is my honor to help families and buisiness owners to choose the legacy they want and to provide for their loved ones and charities. Small buisiness is the back bone of our society and enconomy. What happens to them determines the destiny of our country.
