Buck Institute Novato CA, $184M Senior Project Engineer on this multi-phased, research facility. Phase I will consist of a three and a four story building totaling (184,000 SF); The Construction Budget for this Research, Support and Education Building and Laboratory #4 building are estimated at $38 million. Duties include the development of a project cost control report, project schedules, coordination meetings with local utilities, setup/coordination of Field Construction Office, setup of the field document tracking software, cash flow projections, minor cost estimating and preparation of bid documents. Marin County Jail $26M110,000 square feet, 222 cells, $19 million dollar construction cost, $26 million total project cost. This project was built partially below grade and is adjacent and also connected to Frank Lloyd Wright's Marin County Civic Center. Created specialized field orders. Performed onsite quality control services. Updated project construction schedule. Review of RFI’s, submittal's and field orders. Developed project punch list, maintained as-built drawings, coordinated project closeout activitiesProgram Management duties for the 5 years working on the California Department of Corrections - State Prison Construction program included: developing and updating project design and construction schedules, creating “Proceed to Bid” documents, providing technical support for A/E negotiations, preparing State’s estimates and contract amendments, coordinating and maintain tracking logs, conducting training for new employees, preparing project addendum's, RFI review, contract, air permitting and equipment coordination for new equipment.
