Understanding the Planning System, identifying development risks and provding solutions which lead to Development approvals.

In this position I managed the Planning section of Monteath and Powys. Our planning work includes a variety of work from Rock concerts, to churches, medium density housing to large land subdivisions.As a Registered Surveyor and Certified Practicing Planner my core area of expertise is Land Development managing the approval process from rezoning through to Development Consent.

My inclusion in this committee is as a result of my involvement in the development industry, particularly through the UDIA, the committee provides advice to Newcastle Council on strategic planning matters of direct relevance to the Local Government Area.
