I began teaching at Bloomfield Academy as a Catholic Religious Instructor for Elementary Students. Having undergone religious formation in the Congregation of the Sacred Stigmata in Carmona, Cavite, I had fresh learnings about Catholicism and Christian Living. I enjoyed my experience as a first-time teacher in Bloomfield. That ran for 2 years from June 1999 to March 2001. Afterward, I took a two-year break from teaching until I decided to resume my career in another school, Montessori de Manila, back in October 2004 to March 2005. I was then a Music and Art Teacher at the Elementary Level. Then, after that, I had the opportunity to work abroad as a Secretary in an office in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which lasted for only 10 months. Afterward, before March of 2006, I applied as a Catholic Religious Instructor in De La Salle Santiago Zobel again. That ran for another 2 years, from June 2006 to March 2008. I had the urge to look for another workplace due to difficult circumstances and my search led me to work in another school in Bayanan, Muntinlupa City which the Zelatrix Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus put up and managed. Here, besides teaching Religious subjects, I had the opportunity to teach other Academic Subjects like English, Science, Music, and Art. My teaching career continued at the Maria Ferrari School for 7 years. Seeing a better offer in the government schools, I took steps to apply. I landed a teaching job at the Department of Education, based in Bacoor City, Cavite. I have been teaching there since 2016 up to the present.
