35+ year veteran, half as a commercial banker in California, the other half supervising financial institutions in emerging markets that accessed credit lines granted by the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) for on-lending to Small & Medium Enterprises SMEs. Now focused on publicizing the discovery of CPFA, the Current Portion of Fixed Assets, a provocative concept with significant ramifications for the measurement of liquidity and debt repayment. CPFA was validated in the Journal of Accountancy in 2012, subsequently elaborated in several subsequent articles in The RMA Journal, and fully developed in the book, Cash Flow Lending.
