Developed and implemented third party carrier oversight strategy. Key cornerstones including vendor rationalization, adoption of GPS in all 3rd party carriers to improve safety and facilitate electronic settlements, Two tier vendor structure with corresponding pricing commensurate with utilization rates, elimination of empty miles through increased proactive planning.
