I am the Managing Director of the company and I uniquely hold professional qualifications in both the Health & Safety and Insurance disciplines. I graduated from UCD with the Higher Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work. I am CIP qualified and is working towards ACII status. I am also a member of the CILA (Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters) and AiS (The Association of Insurance Surveyors Limited).I have in-depth knowledge of legislation in both Ireland the UKFrom a health and safety perspective from 2003 I have worked with all types of companies and on projects worth hundreds of millions of Euros. I have carried out the roles of PSDP as well as PSCS and I am a FAS registered trainer.In 2006 I started carrying out property and liability surveys throughout Ireland and the UK. I have built up a considerable amount of experience surveying various types of property/liability risks and have utilised my claims experience when identifying potential hazards. I have established a reputation for attention to detail and quality report writing. In 2009 I became involved with claims and have investigated claims minor in nature to very serious accidents, with these I have seen them right through to settlement. This work involves the carrying out of scene investigations and meeting with all relevant parties before preparing detailed written reports. These reports include an analysis of causation, extent of personal injury or property damage, policy operation and indemnity, as well as the fundamental issues of liability and quantum. The reports are based on thorough investigation, assembly of data, careful analysis and reasoned conclusions.As part of the broader scope of my duties within the insurance industry I have liaised with underwriters, policyholders and legal teams to provide them with specific advice when required in relation to Health and Safety issues and legislation.
