My name is Stephen Bezold and I graduated in April of 2021 with a Master's of Science in Planning from Florida State University along with a bachelor's degree in International Affairs, specialized in Public Administration, a minor in Urban and Regional Planning, and a certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security in May of 2019. My studies in the planning field are specialized in transportation and land use planning, with a focus on expanding multi modal possibilities.Currently, I am employed as a Planner for the City of Lansing Economic Development & Planning Department. I have experience as a Planner with the Region 2 Planning Commission in Michigan serving Jackson, Lenawee, and Hillsdale counties, a graduate research assistant with the Barnebey Planning and Development Lab working on multi modal mobility in North Florida, and as a Contract Planner at Stearns Weaver Miller in Tallahassee, Florida. Throughout my courses at FSU's Department of Urban and Regional Planning and my work experience, I have studied programs like ArcGIS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and SketchUp. Some of my skills include proper time management, a strong work ethic, and a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
