Department Manager - Gam Division
CurrentPlans, organizes, directs, and controls the functions of the department through subordinates at the managerial or supervisory level. Makes decisions and establish objectives for the department or establishment. Directly supervises a staff (Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Tool and Die Shop and Quality) that performs various support services, on the other hand, develop departmental plans, set goals and deadlines, implement procedures to improve productivity and customer service, and define the responsibilities of supervisory-level managers. Possess a knowledge of the day-to-day operation of the organization, but do not necessarily have the detailed knowledge required of a first line supervisor. Oversees first-line supervisors from various departments, including the clerical staff. Direct operations for a department. Coordinate department activities in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures. Implement and adhere to all ISO-9000 and ISO 14001 procedures.Confers with Division management to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area. Directs and coordinates department activities. Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees. Directs preparation of accounting records.Coordinates with functional areas to achieve effective and efficient concurrent design / production. Supports internal and external resources involved in product realization activities as required.
