I have over 15 years experience in synthetic organic chemistry, including research within the university and biotech sectors. I completed my PhD in organic chemistry in the Rizzacasa research group at the University of Melbourne, focusing on the total synthesis of complex natural products. In my time in the biotech industry I have further honed my skills in the design and implementation of custom synthetic strategies towards novel target compounds. I have extensive experience in using spectroscopic and analytical methods for the characterisation of targets and isolated impurities, and excellent problem solving skills for process improvement during research and development phases.
