- Responsible for the industrial planning associated with the design and procurement of connectivity items needed for all Telecoms Payloads.- Work closely with key stakeholders to develop standard processes and product improvements in line with the payload requirements.- Work with other entities to fulfil their responsibility, acting as the primary interface with supply chain, MDO and AIT to ensure a successful preparation of all inputs needed to start assembly.- Team leader for the Prepare for Assembly Team, including setting objectives, managing workload, performance appraisal and driving improvements.

-Head of for a team of 50 technicians and engineers. Made up of permanent and contract staff with various levels of experience.-Manage the forward load and recruitment requirements for all parts of the team.-Development of skills and competencies of the Assembly team in line with business need.-Accountable for the management of Assembly work packages for Quality, Cost and Delivery.-Accountable for all Assembly processes developed for payload build.-Drive standardisation of all Assembly process with support to cross site harmonisation.-Manage improvement activities to contribute to reductions in cost and non quality.-Investment planning and management of CAPEX for Assembly in line with business needs.-Management and customer reporting at business and operational reviews.

(Design for Manufacture / Assembly & Design for Test).-Drive and Continuously monitor the CM Assembly Production schedule with support from the schedulers and Assembly Operations Manager, to ensure the timely delivery and optimum sequence for CM Assembly including unplanned work as necessary.-Technical liaison with all concerned stakeholders, i.e. lead investigations and IOR resolution & operational support.-Support quality reviews and Root Cause Analysis
