I am a Biomedical Sciences graduate working in the field of medical education. Specifically I use medical simulation equipment to facilitate the education of various medical staff and medical students at East Surrey Hospital. This was a role that became vital in preparing our staff in the new hospital guidance for treating Covid patients during the pandemic. While working in this field I have completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Biomedical and Healthcare Education and an MSc in Genomic Medicine.Prior and during my first degree I worked as a personal carer for a man with Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome which involved assisting him to bathe, eat, drink, travel and communicate with others. This taught me many crucial aspects of care work particularly how to treat others with empathy, dignity and respect.My hobbies include but are not limited to; Rugby, Skiing, Fitness and Film.
