Support and assist the Applications Portfolio Manager(s) to manage/oversee software development activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software solutions in support the assigned Portfolio(s). Assist the technical team to apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Develop operational methods for supporting ongoing demands of 30+ yearly audits and assessment activities across the Aeronautics enterprise supporting both internal and external auditing agencies. Develop strategic plans to address long-term remediation of installed base of 460+ systems and closes gaps in existing processes to prevent future recurrence. Proactively examine IT processes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards across the entire Aero IT organization; and where required, work with process owners to engineer repeatable and effective process solutions. Serve as IT liaison to the internal Aero IT teams with internal and external auditing agencies. Guide Aero IT leaders and their teams from the start of corrective action planning through issue resolution to ensure effective remediation plans are put in place to prevent repeat compliances issues. Take on other special, non-recurring assignments as deemed necessary by the Strategy, Governance and Security Director, the Applications Director, and the Aeronautics CIO

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

Performs Information Technology audits across all business areas within Lockheed Martin. Assess IT general controls (Asset Management, Change Management, Logical Security, Physical Security, Requirements Management, Risk and Opportunity Management) of networks, operating systems, databases and applications to proactively monitor and report on risks, exposures, internal controls and key performance indicators across various areas of the company. Work with audit clients to gain concurrence on audit report and act as a resource to assist the client in creating corrective actions. Worked with the audit client to verify closure of agreed upon corrective actions. Presented audit finding to Vice Presidents and Directors throughout the Corporation. Increase responsibilities in March of 2012 to lead a virtual team of four IT auditors. Lead responsibilities included managing budget and schedule for audits assigned, managing day to day activities for the team and providing performance feedback to team members quarterly and as part of the performance managment process. Regularly briefing the Vice President of audit on current status of assigned audit and provide insight on emerging risks encounter while auditing. Interviewed candidates and provided input on hiring decisions to management. Mentor new team members to ensure understanding of the audit process, smooth integration into the audit team and provide career development suggestions.

Orlando, Florida Area

Manages architectural related tasks and provides architectural analysis and recommendations for various customers. Utilize enterprise architecture (Lockheed Martin Enterprise Architecture Framework, DODAF, TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF) to understand and model customers business process/needs to ensure mapping to IT system designs. Other architectural related tasks include but are not limited to: providing input on performance related issues, configuration design/changes to environments, review/change proposals and coordinating tasks between various technical teams.
