Junk King Greater Philadelphia was established in 2018. After witnessing my mother in-law having to deal with her parents and brothers estates I realized there is a very real need for a trustworthy Junk removal business in the Philadelphia area. I have been an entrepreneur since I was 22 years old. I am a strong believer in building relationships and providing great customer service. Junk King is as much about removing items as it is building a relationship with the customer. Cleaning out your childhood home is an emotional experience and earning your customers trust is important. After starting my prior business in 2002 selling beer, soda and other related beverages I decided to sell the business in 2018. I then purchased the territorial rights for a Junk King franchise covering most of the Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. Junk King is a service based business. As we all know we are in a service related economy and proving a needed service is essential to long term business sustainability. At Junk King we remove unwanted furniture, appliances, sheds, hot tubs, etc... we do so while recycling, donating and repurposing 60% of everything we remove.
