Do what you say you are going to do, and 'treat people as you'd like to be treated' simple principles that make doing business enjoyable.With over 25 years experience in the electronic security industry it's interesting to see how the need to feel and be secure remains, even if the means of achieving it have changed. Over the years I have worked in both sales and technical roles. With a strong technical background I have found adopting new products relatively easy. I have also worked for a couple of manufacturers selling to the trade, providing sales and technical support, and working at exhibitions.I took some time out in 2012 to pursue a desire to learn Chinese and to that end moved to Taiwan and enrolled at Providence University. Taiwan is a brilliant country with very friendly people (and great food). And so after a short break back in England, it was not a difficult decision to return for a second stint in Taiwan, to spend a some more time improving my Mandarin; and now it's great to be able to read, write and speak Chinese, not fluently, because that would take a lot longer than a couple of years.
