I have just started my own business. S.G.M - Steve's Gardening & Mowing Services. My love for the outdoors and the perks of job security and being my own boss lead me down this path and so far i'm loving it. Between 2008 and 2014 I was a contractor at DFP Recruitment Services. It was through DFP that I got my first contract at ExxonMobil in the Procurement Department where I was given the opportunity to do several administrative tasks. It was during this initial contract that I changed my whole attitude to the future. I was lucky enough to be given several big contracts in this first year which gave me the chance to save enough money to take a three month solo vacation to Europe & the UK.I also made the decision during this first year at ExxonMobil to go to University & get a degree in Business Management, which I was successful in, not failing a subject for the full 3 years. During my University Degree DFP continued to find me regular contracts at ExxonMobil in departments such as; Exploration, Safety, Health, Environment & Security & Procurement.After graduating from University I started my first contract as a skilled employee. I was lucky enough to get a job working for the Supply Operations Department at Mobil Oil Australia as an Assistant Marine Analyst. I was given the responsibility of performing Customs Clearance, Demurrage calculations, Forecasting & Actual evaluation & analysis, Invoice processing & documenting for daily shipping operations. During this year I made fantastic friendships, learnt so many new processes & enhanced many skills that are transferable to all aspects of life not just work. Since this contract has ended I have taken some time off but am now looking to get back into the workforce, ideally to continue building on the skills I have gained from Supply Operations.
