Advisory Board Consulting and Management provided consulting services to hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers and large, independent physician practices prior to acquisition by Optum in November of 2017 . As a manager in Advisory Board's Clinovations/optimization practice, Steve managed projects implementing clinical and operational strategies to promote value based care. As Epic HCC Solution Manager, Steve oversaw development and implementation for Epic based risk adjustment products. Steve also worked with Advisory Board's strategy consulting practice on engagements including customer journey mapping, price transparency, and reorienting mission, vision, values.
