As product leader in this complex and rapidly changing space I was responsible for product management of web application and algorithm products and services within our computational pathology product portfolio. I worked to identify customer needs and requirements through f2f customer interaction, understanding the value proposition and communicating this to the teams and formalizing through creation of requirements to successful delivery and global launch. In April 2018 I concluded the delivery from concept through development to successful global launch of the world first ever Ai deep learning suite of algorithms and web platform in a molecular pathology workflow.

Operating in a lean start up product discovery environment. I led and applied product leadership, discovery and user centered design thinking, direction and GTM launch activities within a lean agile XP development environment for connected car mobile consumer apps. One of the products was a first experiment for Allstate as non-insurance mobile app product called Driving Status that told users loved ones when their user was driving. I was an agile coach for the new XP process for the product team.

I managed a high profile complex pay program rollout across the US with a budget of $1.5M for Allstate agents. These where a vital set of projects for the enterprise which involved multiple technology application areas and interdependencies. The program followed a SDLC/Waterfall methodology and due to importance of the projects I reported on status regularly at a senior executive level within this Fortune 500 company.

I Led/directed cross functional teams to complete engineering products, ensuring effective and efficient interface over the entire project life cycle. As a senior member within the team I was directly involved in looking at rolling out product management processes to add value in the project life cycle and to improve NPI processes. I was responsible for a number of strategic projects for this global company the most significant of which was a product line called Faraday that accounted for significant portion of planned revenue.

I was first point of contact as tier one supplier to Global OEM customer on all quality and reliability related aspects and focal point for all quality related customer communications launch and post launch. I ensured products met or exceeded both business and customer quality requirements. I Identified gaps in business processes and drove root cause and corrective action analysis through a recognized 8D process. I managed the overall customer product return process for quality and reliability issues and worked with customers to verify and understand device and system issues.

I was responsible for technical support and customer interface on behalf of the aftermarket company portfolio of imaging products. I provided service and support for technical issues from customers and distributors in the field as well as internal staff both before and after sales. I supported contract setup for new product and provided market learning to assist in the shaping of future product strategy.

I provided product and process trouble shooting on electronic and mechanical issues, optimization management, fault finding and test of medical devices, supplier approval, validation, implementation of manufacturing processes and efficiencies, and technology transfer for new products and processes, and taking responsibilities for the quality control systems as required within the company. I was on secondment to Copenhagen, for 3 months for a significant role in the transition of new business for a global customer into Belfast plant. This was a major contract to the company. I also had direct contact with the FDA working in a continuous improvement role dealing with FDA observations.
