Provides technical, logistical and administrative support to the Commanding Generalin the execution of responsibilities associated with 12,000 military, civilian, and contractorpersonnel for the Georgia Army National Guard. Communicates the CG's intent and guidance. Maximizes efficiency and effectiveness through precise management of time and activities. Interfaces with andcoordinates at all levels of GA Department of Defense. Serves as an advisor and principal member of the Command Group and CG's front office regarding administrative management functions. Provides advice and recommendations to the CG, Chief of Staff, and all Staff Primaries on all matters relative to the coordination, integration, and synchronization of staff actions, events, and activities personally affecting and involving the CG.

Single point of contact for all Air Mission Requests for the Georgia Army National Guard- critical role for maintaining professionalism and relationships with external partners and customers. Requires excellent communication and organization skills, coupled with expert knowledge of governing regulations. Assists in the successful management of the second largest full-time (Dual-Status Technician) workforce in the GA Army National Guard. Has the knowledge and expertise in Full-Time Manning administrative functions, serving as the single point of contact for each of the Army Aviation Support Facility Commanders to pursue or resolve workforce management issues or requirements.

Battalion's second in command and "chief of staff," prepared to represent the Battalion Commander at any time. Responsible for establishing staff operating procedures and assembling and supervising the staff during the decision-making process. Ensuring information flow between the staff and commander on staff recommendations and the commander's decisions. Enforcing standing operating procedures. Ensuring deployment readiness of the Battalion. Serving as the material readiness officer and supervising unit status reporting. Providing for Battalion logistical support. Exceptionally talented, highly intelligent mission-focused professional. Planned, coordinated, and oversaw the execution of the battalion's deployment and return of 176 personnel, 5 UH60L Blackhawks, and 70 pallet positions by STRATAIR to Tbilisi, Georgia. The battalion conducted 125 flight hours, 10,000 maintenance man hours and expended over 46,000 rounds of ammunition. His effective leadership supported over 3,000 military personnel from 13 partner nations. Expertly managed the battalion's staff operations, resulting in the successful execution of both post-mobilization training, as well as mission execution during Operation Joint Guardian KFOR 26. Able to expertly synchronize multiple, complex tasks including deployment from CONUS to OCONUS, and effective integration of the staff into operations with US and NATO partner nations.

Primary point of contact responsible for management and execution of Air Mission Request process for the facility that supports four different flight companies. Collaborates with unit trainers and representatives IOT manage resources against competing Aircrew Training Program priorities. Coordinates with facility maintenance personnel IOT maximize training and execution against asset availability. Develops weekly training schedule based upon mulitple inputs, managed priorites, and available assets for approval and distribution.Plans, develops and maintains a flight training program for 130+ aviators assigned to AASF #2 for training. Ensures supervision and oversight of all training conducted by instructors and that training is in accordance with command strategy and guidance. Establishes an ATP monitoring program with Flight Operations and provides a monthly status to the Facility Commander

Assist the Brigade Operations Officer in matters concerning operations, plans, organization, and training within the 700+ personnel brigade consisting of one General Support Aviation Battalion, three Aviation Support Facilities, and five Direct Reporting Units with a combined 42 rotary and fixed wing platforms; while working with the other staff positions. Preparing, coordinating, authenticating, and publishing operation plans and orders; and reviewing plans and orders of subordinate units. Primary plans officer for Operations Vigilant Guard 17-2, planning the aviation operations for a complex state level training event that required high level critical thinking skills and interagency coordination; which culminated in a successful exercise that encompassed both Georgia Army and Air National Guard units, Title 10 units, and NORTHCOM assets. Responsible for over 200 sorties flown, over 265 aircraft hours executed, over 475 passengers moved, coordination with 26 different local, state, and federal agencies, utilizing 23 different aircraft from Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama; which included a multiagency fire fighting exercise, several search and rescue exercises, hoist operations, medical evacuation exercises, air movements, and numerous other missions that will allow military and civil agencies become better trained in the event that they will need to respond to a catastrophic natural disaster.

The officer in charge of the Brigade Aviation Element which is the planning and coordination cell whose major function is to incorporate aviation into the ground commander's scheme of maneuver. Focusing on providing employment advice and initial planning for aviation missions, unmanned aircraft systems (UASs), airspace planning and coordination, and synchronization with the air liaison officer and the effects coordinator. Coordinates directly with the aviation brigade for detailed mission planning.Also, serving as the Brigade Safety Officer to ensure that all subordinate units are in compliance with safety regulations. Advise the commander on all safety related issues within the brigade and ensure that all activities have the appropriate risk management and risk mitigation assigned.

Participates in all facets of implementation, operation, and management of strategic planning systems, strategic management systems and processes improvement systems within the Georgia Department of Defense. Prepares information research, position papers, briefing statements and verbal reports (used for decisions and action) for the Director of Strategic Management Officer to present to the TAG, senior leadership team, SMB, Management Compliance Council, Organization Readiness Center at the Professional Military Education Center (PMEC) and the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Office of Organization Development. Manages the Internal Control Program for the Army National Guard which is the program that ensures that all the money that GA receives, over $500 million, is used efficiently and effectively within the guidelines set by the federal government. Developed and implemented surveys and feedback processes for customers of the organizations and internal employees to submit for criticism so that the GA DOD can track process and identify weaknesses to improve on. Currently the organization is on an upward trend to fix all areas that have been identified based solely on the reports that have been produced. Performed as an Examiner, Senior Examiner, and Assistant Team Leader for the Malcolm Baldrige Award for Excellence at the National Guard Bureau level. Participated on the Writing team for the GA DOD where we have won the Gold Level for the past three years.

S3 in a General Support Aviation Battalion Task Force, consisting of 10 Reserve Component and Active Component companies and/or detachments deployed to Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn. Assisted with the development of mission type orders, troop leading procedures, and the synchronization of operational efforts that support aviation operations for division and theater level operations within Iraq. Additionally, responsible as the only Command Aviation Company mission planner of a Aviation Battalion Task Force, synchronizing the operational efforts that support aviation operations for direct support to two division and theater level VIP movements and Special Forces units throughout Iraq. In constant contact with all the directorates and VIPs on their daily aerial movements, while supporting other USD-C and USF-I Generals, CSMs, BCT Commanders and CSMs, DOD Civilians, and other DV/VIPs visiting the IJOA. Scheduled and planned for all, approximately 30 or more, CAC UH-60 aerial movements on a daily basis; total movements for the year were over 9000 moves.

Several duties as assigned such as: Georgia Liaison for the 150 personnel that are on the Mexico border in 5 locations between Arizona and New Mexico. Compiled and wrote the Joint Forces Headquarters J-3 Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Established a consolidated duty roster to plan and budget for training courses from the State level to the Unit level additional duties for the employees of the GA Army National Guard. Launched a plan and budget for ordering and forecasting computers, furniture and other equipment needed for the GA State operations section. Performs Financial Liability Officer duties; investigating vehicular accidents involving members of the GA Army National Guard and finding fault, financial liability, and recommending punishment.
