In October 2017 I took on a position as Outfitting Lead for an internal project, the project is a Regional Class Research Vessel for Oregon State University. My responsibilities in this role are as follows:- Overseeing the modeling and placement of all equipment/mechanical items.- Overseeing the modelling and production information for foundations, manholes, hatches, stairs, ladders, handrails, electrical cableway supports, gratings, floor coverings, joiner, insulation and all other structural outfitting items.- Extensive use of Ship Constructor software- Extensive use of Rhino 3D software - 2 years Nupas Cadmatic software experience- Have worked on several projects producing 3D models from 2D design drawings and then producing yard ready production drawings.-Experience with curved plate modelling.-Worked on several types of vessels. Offshore supply vessels, ferries, tug and barge combo, fishing trawlers, MPSV and tow boats.
