2024 Cleveland State University College of Law graduate and Juris Doctor with a Masters Degree in Social Work scheduled to take the Uniform Bar Examination in February 2025. Passionate about public service and aspire to practice as a licensed attorney in local government following the February 2025 bar examination. As a first generation college graduate, it is a tremendous privilege to have received a legal education and prepare to sit for the bar examination. During my legal education, I gained invaluable legal experience in the field as a law clerk in criminal and family law settings at the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office and in private criminal defense. I also maintained employment as a research assistant analyzing Ohio Constitutional issues. On campus, I participated in Cleveland State's Appellate Practice Clinic, served as Secretary of the College of Law's Student Public Interest Law Organization, and participated in the Dean's Leadership Fellows Program. Before earning my law degree, I obtained a Masters in Social Work and worked as a clinical social worker specializing in adolescents and young adults in the community, school, and residential settings. From 2008 to 2012, I served as an infantry rifleman in the United States Marine Corps.
