2019-2020, worked in warehouse and inventory management, with a focus on human capitol and facility logistics2018I am now in my 7th year in teaching. I currently work at Manor Middle school. Going on my 3rd year as a behavior teacher. I have also taught Special Education Inclusion for 3 years (Social Studies, Science, and Language Arts) and was a substitute for Taylor DAEP (alternative school). I am responsible for 12-15 kids on my caseload and provide them with accommodations/ modifications to supplement their education and allow access the same benefits from their education as other non disabled students. These supports are delivered in many different settings and situations. To positively affect students’ lives and maintain vital teacher relationships provides me with the drive to make a difference. My first full time teaching job was offered by Middle School as a Special Education Proactive Behavioral Support Teacher(PBSC) in Manor, Texas. I maintained and facilitated paperwork for my caseload (6th, -8th grade). I drafted and implemented students’ IEP’s as determined in ARD meetings, worked with students, teachers, parents, and administration to tailor individual goals and tracked progress by reporting in alignment within general education standards. Teaching also provided me the opportunity for social skills training, modeling, and redirection to promote growth for targeted behaviors. I directly supervised 2 to 4 para-professionals and promoted a positive work environmentI also taught Special Education Inclusion at Manor Middle in Social Studies, Language Arts, and Science. I facilitated paperwork for my caseload (14-16 students, 6th-8th). I modified work and provide supplemental materials to aide all Special Education students. I was responsible for monitoring 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in class to support (70+ Special Education Students overall). Certainly would not turn down any student that needed help. Being a teacher, changes the world.
