CurrentSeconded into Sainsbury's head office as Value Manager for the Central Region covering all property schemes from refurbishment's of existing stores, concessions, convenience to new stores and extensions, Distribution and logistics Programme. Responsible for value engineering cost plans from initial estimate stage through investment to Contractors CSA's and final account stage. Challenging scope and ensure consistency + compliance with client processes. Supporting project managers, regional and senior area managers/development surveyors preparing investment cost data documentation. Cost reporting to strategic management on specific programme streams. Co-ordinating/standardization of external information, QA/ performance measurement of external cost managers. Upkeep of cost models/compiling new workstream cost models/cost data base and benchmarking data..Current duty is collating and completing period commercial reports for whole of property spend for management presentation, commercially managing and reporting refurbishment workstream and assist in budget setting for future years,
