Responsible for investigating and researching local authority property records in order to compile conveyancing reports for solicitors and other clients. Covering a catchment area of Yorkshire and Derbyshire, work is received by email/online with appointments scheduled and booked by myself. Each local authority differs enormously, requiring a high degree of flexibility and focus to ensure maximum efficiency with time and overheads, and the completion of work to the tight deadlines demanded by customers.

Creswell/Barnsley

Creating and maintaining a range of hard-copy and electronic files for a client-audit of two multi-million pound projects. This involved numerous account reconciliations, generation of forecasts and in-depth analysis of submitted timesheets and work records so that detailed reports could be compiled as per the client's wishes. Investigation and creation of factual counter-claims against contractors who have not fulfilled contractual requirements, particularly with regards to staffing issues. Assisting with other accounts issues as required.

Dealing with all aspects of query handling on behalf of vendors, from statement reconciliations to chasing missing payments and resolving disputes.

A variety of purchase ledger duties, including posting and matching invoices, reconciling statements, dealing with delivery/invoice queries.Also involved in a process of updating the stock and pricing databases in an attempt to minimise ongoing supplier queries arising through pricing issues.

During this period of time I was employed by a variety of people to carry out various projects – the majority of which were related to decorating/construction/landscaping following-on from decorating a friend’s hallway. My success in these roles saw further work arise through word-of-mouth. I also returned to Gatecrasher for occasional half weeks of employment to cover holidays and other absences.

Responsible for maintaining the Purchase Ledger; validating and booking invoices, creating payments, resolving open PO's, reconciling accounts and dealing with supplier queries.Within this period I was also charged with managing the office relocation that took place in 2009; overseeing all aspects of the move from the logistics through to management of third-parties.

I was responsible for the North East, Yorkshire and East Midlands Regions searches which involved receiving a list of addresses on a nightly basis, upon which searches were required across these regions. I would plan my working day according to the appointments made across the different locations - each local authority and day differing greatly and requiring flexibility and focus, to ensure maximum efficiency and the completion of work to tight deadlines. Reports were compiled with data extracted from a variety of media, ranging from 19th century canvas archives, through to digital records, all of which needed to be translated and presented in the legally required report format.Additional responsibilities within this role included the training of new staff and subsequently assisting with the allocation of work as required to ensure the efficient scheduling of the newly enlarged team.2002 - 2004 Temporary PositionsVarious Temporary roles.Including customer service, office administration, warehouse and manual roles.

Warehouse Order PickerResponsible for the picking of office supplies orders to targets and within given timeframes.Initially a part-time role, I was quickly asked to work full-time, as my strength in this role had been noted. After a three month period, I was asked to spend three months in the sales office to cover maternity leave, before a return to the warehouse. In summer 2000 a request was made that I spend three weeks assisting with a warehouse integration project in Bristol, where my role was to ensure the successful integration of stock, with consideration given to the nuances in the two different stock databases.
