In this role I lead a team of hugely talented AI, MLOps and DataOps engineers in our Centre for Intelligent Power, bringing an AI & ML technology platform to life which will house prediction algorithms for end users to consume via our API. I'm leading out on the following:- Developing our Technology Roadmap and packaging into different streams of work including MLOps, API's, Core Infrastructure, DataOps and DevSecOps- Identifying the features we are looking to deploy and when while achieving Senior Leadership buy in to our delivery plan- Building out the Program of work starting with Initiative identification & Epic definition that will make these features a reality- Using Jira & Confluence extensively to log and record progress against our Initiatives, Epics and Stories while producing Advanced Roadmaps, Sprint and Velocity reports to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the team- Resource planning across a team of c. 25 engineers across multiple geographical locations- Working with our Business Portfolio Managers to identify and prioritise the algorithms that need to be onboarded on to the platform for our customers- Creating the Support Operating Model for the platform that focuses on the development of the key People, Process and Technology areas that will provide a stable, supported platform

Playing a key leadership role within the EirGrid Chief People and Information Office I was responsible for standing up the 'Digital Programme', a key pillar within EirGrid's IT and Digital Strategies. I lead the initiative to enable EirGrids first Public Cloud offering via Microsoft Azure, the design and definition of a Cloud Operating Model along with the migration of all corporate users to the Microsoft 365 Suite. Other strategic initiatives included within this programme involved the introduction of Microsoft Project Online, the rollout of LinkedIn Learning, the rollout of inTune to all Corporate mobile devices and the redesign of the organisations corporate website. I was also responsible for setting up the programme governance, monitoring and approving programme spend along with continuous upwards reporting to the Executive.

This key strategic programme with a budget of c. €10m involved extensive Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement to achieve buy in on approach and Change Impact. I also lead the development of the Workforce Management Data & Analytics offering providing the organisation with the ability to make key data driven decisions

I Performed Project, Programme and Portfolio management within the PMO along with People management, performance management, recruitment and capacity planning. I provided proactive communications and management of key stakeholders across the business. As Programme Manager, I planned and tracked the progress of multiple parallel projects, both small and large, and of varying complexity. I continuously developed and implemented robust programme and project management methodologies, process and standards across the programme group. I strive to provide leadership in planning and allocating budgeting and resources and ensuring IT projects and business priorities are aligned. My role involved negotiating with key stakeholders involving prioritisation of projects and resources along with identification of project dependencies, risks & activities and negotiate resolutions. I drove teams regular reporting and monitoring of the projects and ensure excellent communications across the IT function.
