Integrate standard part antennas and test customer’s devices, optimise performance and produce test reports. I was in charge of testing prototypes and new products, writing test specifications and providing feedback to production to improve quality and in-manufacturing test procedures.

I was responsible for formulating test plans and assisting test technicians where necessary. Formal reporting of test results to design sections and to upper management. Root cause investigation and countermeasure determination with design groups. Technical support to the production plant when necessary. Overall responsibility for load balance/battery testing and harness test on some vehicles. Overseeing testing at sub-contractor sites where we have outsourced testing.

I was responsible for all aspects of calibration at plants Oxford and Swindon, including rolling out a new IT system, outsourcing the calibration of test equipment, conducting internal audits and assisting in external audits.

As a Senior Test Technician I was responsible for all the technical aspects of measurement and reporting of RF power measurement.

As a Test Engineer I was responsible for the calibration, verification and final assembly of high power amplifiers in the range 5Hz to 5kHz.
