Responsible for conducting management’s annual self-assessment of internal controls related to Entity Level Controls, Financial Controls for Reporting and Process Level Controls for sales, purchases and inventory. All testing ensures an unbiased determination of adherence to Company documented policies and procedures across the Regional Headquarters’ nine subsidiaries. Concentration is given to identifying areas of operation improvements, control automation and best practices for subsidiary standardization.

Consolidate the financial results of nine international and domestic subsidiaries and report to the parent company in Japan.

Responsible for the monthly closing process of non-consolidated subsidiaries for reporting to parent company in Germany.

- In-charge accountant of financial statement audits: non-public corporate clients; non-profit entities; defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans.- Prepared quarterly and annual review and compilation reports.- Prepared federal and state corporate, individual and partnership tax returns.- Researched and responded to federal and state income tax notices.
